The Wild Card show is one that is usually anticipated because of the second chance it offers evicted contestants and today’s episode is not different.
To begin, Ill Rymz breaks down as always, the format of the show and then the judges Wild Card selection.
The first contestant called back was Modele. Then Deola who did not make it to the Wild Card and then Kessy Drizy who also did not make it. The judges gave them a little pep-talk and encouraged them to keep dreaming and fighting for their dream.
Abasiakan was next and he made it through. Then G-Circuit who the judges thanked for coming to the competition but did not make it though. Moses was next and as the judges have been impressed with him from the beginning, he made it through and so did the next contestant, Okey Jazz.
Kemi was the next contestant and she did not make it through. And neither did Byno who the judges also advised not to give up.
Oweck impressed Jeffery from the beginning as he mentioned and so were the other judges, he was sent through for the Wild card and so did Dani Angus, and Bimi.
However, Ill Rymz disclosed that Bimi had left the show. In a short clip Bimi, explained that she couldn’t go forward with the competition for some personal reason and she thanked everyone for supporting her thus far.
Up next were the Wild Card performances. Performing first was Moses, doing Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back to black’. Jeffery said his performance was flawless like the first time he performed it. He then urged viewers to vote. His voting number is 518
Next was Okey Jazz with Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Breakaway’. Yinka said about his performance ‘I loved you then, I love you now, I love you forever. Thank you for that’. His voting number is 505
Performing next was Dani Angus with Mariah Carey’s ‘We belong together’. Femi said ‘It was perfect. I loved the way he modulated his voice, you can still find his masculine tonation in all what he is doing. His presentation: flawless! His voting number is 512
Michael sang Trey Songz ‘Can’t be friends’. Yinka commended his vocals as solid and advised him to keep his hands less restless. His voting number is 526
Oweck sang Christopher Cross’s ‘Sailing’. Femi Kuti called his performance great. He also said he was a part of the song and everybody felt him. His voting number is 513
Modele sang Whitney Houston’s ‘All the man I ever needed’. Jeffery said her vocal performance was courageous except that she didn’t have the mic close to her mouth at times but in all she did well. His voting number is 504
Lastly was Abasiakan performing Faith Evan’s ‘Never gonna let you go’ for which Jeffery commended him greatly. His voting number is 521.
