Is Femi Kuti coming back? That’s the question on all of our minds. Well, we cannot tell you for sure if he is coming back or when he is but we do have a surprise for you Nigerian Idol fans soonest.

Hip-hop star, Naeto C has filled in for him since he’s been away. Naeto has managed to gain a new legion of fans, either hating him for his honest, raw judging approach or loving him for same. He’s kept our social media pages constantly buzzing with topics of the flavour he’s brought to the show.

Femi left for his World Tour in America just before the Top 30 Stage. Now, if Femi Kuti is returning to the show, he might be returning for the Top 12 stage; provided he would be returning. We spoke to Femi who confirmed that he has missed the show dearly.

Femi joined the judges for the third Season last year and has since been heavily involved as an exciting judge with an eye and ear for talent.

Still in the spirit of surprise, WILD CARD episode is next and we are pretty excited to see who the judges will save from the pool of contestants that were dropped from the Top 30 stage to join the Top 12. Are you excited too?
