Today's episode starts off with short clips showing last week’s performances and eviction thus making It clear that the competition is indeed getting stiffer. In similar fashion as last week, the contestants did a group performance of Bill Wither’s ‘Lean on me’ in a different style from the original version that got rave applauds from the audience.
Thereafter, the judges made their high expectations of this group known. The first performer of the evening is Immaculate Victoria singing Jackson 5’s ‘Blame it on the boogie’. Jeffery compliments her outfit but said she was not connecting with her audience. Naeto C urged her to work on her confidence. Her voting number is 511.
Next is Danny Angus from Port Harcourt, who sings Mariah Carey’s ‘We belong together’; gaining massive applauds from the audience. Naeto C says Danny is very unassuming and congratulates him for a well-deserved applause from the audience. His voting number is 512.
Oweck performs Christopher Cross’s ‘Sailing’ in a very emotional way as confirmed by Jeffery. Naeto C says it is a cool performance but he should learn to pronounce his words clearly. His voting number is 513.
Kome does The Commodores ‘Three times a lady’ for which Jeffery commended her creativity with the performance. Naeto C said it was a solid performance. Her voting number is 514.
Up next is Kemi singing Usher’s ‘There goes my baby’. Naeto C says she can't win the competition with this performance. For Jeffery, the pitching was wrong. Yinka says she threw herself out of the window with her performance. Her voting number is 515.
Tagi performs Soul to Soul’s ‘keep on moving’ to the disappointment of the three judges but still wished her the best. Her voting number is 516.
Joe-Emmal sang Michael Bolton’s 'When a man loves a woman' and immediately won applauds from the audience on his first note. Jeffery said Joe redeemed the show. His voting number is 517.
Moses sang Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back to black’ and gets Yinka confessing her undying love. Jeffery urged the viewers to vote for him. His voting number is 518.
Ritchie sings Bruno Mars’ ‘Lazy song’ and Yinka loved it. Jeffery and Naeto C unanimously agreed that the song did not allow him exude his true voice thus sounding like a karaoke but he had a decent performance. His voting number is 519.
Lastly, Mena performs ‘Lady’ by Kenny Rogers. Jeffery says it was the wrong choice of song. For Yinka, the goose bumps did not come, while Naeto C says he picked a boring song for old people. He admits he was entertained and then wished Mena the best.
