Benin City, is a city with an average population of about 1,147,188 and the capital of Edo State in southern Nigeria. It is a city approximately 25 miles north of the Benin River. It is situated 200 miles by road east of Lagos. Benin is the centre of Nigeria's rubber industry, but processing palm nuts for oil is also an important traditional industry. This South-South city of mythic origins attached to Oranmiyan is famed for its large collections of ancient artifacts, historic books, museums and heritage site like the Oba's Palace, Igun Street, famous for bronze casting and other metal works for centuries. Other attractions include various festivals and the Benin Moats (measuring about 20 to 40 ft), the famous King's Square on Ring Road and its traditional markets. These festivals are usually accompanied by traditional singers from different part of the city singing to the amazement of everyone present This ancient town will be one of the host cities for this year's audition and we hope to find the perfect one.

Port Harcourt is an Igbo city and the capital of Rivers State, Nigeria. It lies along the Bonny River and is located in the Niger Delta. According to the 2006 Nigerian census Port Harcourt has a population of 1,382,592. Port Harcourt was renamed by Frederick Lugard after Lewis Vernon Harcourt in 1913 who was the Secretary of State for the Colonies. This oil rich city of Port Harcourt is also going to play host to the most popular reality show in Nigeria. We can't wait to see what our Port Harcourt peeps have for us. Port Harcourt is home to great Nigerian singers among whom are Duncan Mighty, Frank D'Nero and many more. Noteworthy of mention is the fact that Mercy Chinwo, the winner of Nigerian Idol season II is from Port- Harcourt.

Calabar is a city in Cross River State, coastal southeastern Nigeria. The original name for Calabar was Atakpa, from the Jukun language. The city is watered by the Calabar and Great Kwa Rivers and creeks of the Cross River.
